Director II Safety Quality Patient Experience – Cleveland Clinic
Janet has more than 38 years of service with the Cleveland Clinic with her clinical background in critical care and birthing services at Lakewood Hospital. She joined the Fairview Hospital Quality Department in 2007 as a Quality Coordinator for NSQIP, a surgical quality improvement program. Janet facilitated Performance Improvement committees for Obstetrics & Gynecology and Pediatrics before becoming the Quality Director in 2013.
Janet’s commitment to safety, quality, and patient experience is demonstrated as she shares Fairview Hospital metrics to drive improvement across all teams. In 2017, Janet was part of a team that presented “Technology Improved Safety Rounding in Behavioral Health” at the ANCC National Magnet Conference in Houston. In 2020, Janet received a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her achievements in the practice of nursing and promoting multi-disciplinary teamwork.
Janet received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana in 1985 and her Masters of Nursing Informatics from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2015.
