As the ACS NSQIP Surgical Clinical Reviewer and RN Quality Specialist for our cancer hospital, I have brought a new level of data analysis to our quality committees which has facilitated physician engagement. My background in surgical services as a circulator as well as an inpatient endoscopy nurse has allowed me to package and communicate analysis effectively in partnering with the Quality Officers for multiple surgical specialties as well as expand collaboration with our data analytics team.
